A few summers ago I traveled to Nashville, TN for the first time and fell in love. From zip lining through the trees to going backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, I made it a mission to go back. This goal finally became reality! Visiting Nashville during Christmastime was an entirely new, beautiful experience.
One of the most exciting aspects about this city is how you never know who you’re going to see. As I was walking out of the Double Tree Hotel, I hear a friendly, “Hello!” I look up to see Steven Tyler of Aerosmith smiling back at me. Oh hey, ‘sup Steve.
Hangin’ out on Broadway is a blast, and visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame is an amazing experience. But, after visiting a city for the first time and crossing off all of the essential tourist activities, I love exploring the neighborhoods to find hidden gems during the second go-around.
In case you find yourself in Nashville, I’ve rounded up a few noteworthy highlights to add to your itinerary.

I definitely need to get back to Nashville! I’ve only been there for a night while I was driving through, so I didn’t get to explore much. I was watching the All Star Hockey Games on TV and they kept showing the city and it was making me want to go even more!
