All About Air Plants

All About Air Plants | theanastasiaco.com

Let’s talk about Tillandsia, also known as air plants. These beauties flourish without soil – all nutrients are consumed through the leaves. Pretty neat, huh?

Hundreds of air plant varieties grow on trees, cliffs, and rocks in South and Central America. They can also be found in southern parts of the United States.

Their sizes and shapes are completely fascinating – I love how each one is packed full of personality.

  1. This was a really great post. I am looking to add some live greenery to my apartment and have been looking into succulents but now more air plants. I didn’t know much about them, and appreciate this post and the inspiration you’ve shared. Thank you!! I’ve even pinned the first picture so that when I find my air plants I will have the post for reference ;) ;)

    Much Love!!

  2. I adore air plants! I actually think they’re much easier to care for than succulents because you don’t have to check for soil moisture. I’m really hoping to get some tillandsia that bloom!

  3. Shannon says:

I think these are so cool! I don’t think they would survive in my apartment, though, since we live in a basement. Maybe one day!

  4. Jesse says:
