Happy Cinco De Mayo! I took this celebration as an excuse to create a new margarita recipe. Duh. This peach + pomegranate margarita will be perfect for relaxing by the pool, (only a few more weeks!) summer parties, and days that end in y.
The recipe
- 8 oz. peach nectar
- 3 oz. pomegranate juice
- 2 oz. tequila
- 2 oz. triple sec
- sugar or margarita salt
- lime
- ice
Makes 1 drink.
Directions
Pour about 3 tablespoons of sugar or margarita salt in a bowl. Rim the edge of your glass with a lime wedge, and dip the rim into the sugar or salt.
Add ice to your glass. Next, combine peach nectar, pomegranate juice, triple sec, and tequila in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for about 30 seconds and serve!
I would highly recommend the blended version of this drink recipe as well!Simply add about a cup of ice, and combine ingredients in a blender.
