Fruit mixed with salad is quite possibly one of my favorite combinations – oh so refreshing!
Did you know spinach offers twice as much fiber as other greens? It’s loaded with essential nutrients and is a great source of Vitamin C! It’s also a fantastic antioxidant. As a kid I stayed far, far away from spinach. Now I can’t get enough of the stuff! Spinach and strawberries is one of my go-to snacks in between meals or after a workout when I’m craving something light yet satisfying. With a 2-minute prep time, it makes for quick and healthy treat.
- spinach leaves
- sliced strawberries
- craisins
- chopped pecans
- a touch of raspberry vinegar

My favorite is strawberries, but I also like mandarin orange slices, too. Plus feta or blue cheese with it. And I prefer to eat salads with spinach than with any other salad greenery. :P
