How to Make Vanilla Iced Coffee 

One of the many wonderful things about coffee is that there are so many different ways to enjoy it. This Vanilla Iced Coffee recipe is perfect for a hot day, or whenever you’re cravin’ a coffee fix! Quality beans are the foundation of a delicious coffee beverage – using Colombian coffee beans provides a full, delicious flavor to the drink.

Ingredients
  1. ¼ c. almond milk
  2. ⅛ c. sweetened condensed milk
  3. ½ tsp. vanilla
  4. 8 oz. coffee
Instructions
  1. For French press coffee, heat 1 c. of water to just under a boil in a kettle. (A Keurig also works well to yield hot water.)
  2. To make (2) 4 oz. servings, add 2 tbsp. of ground up coffee to the French press.
  3. Add just enough water to wet all of the beans - give it a quick stir if needed. Let it set for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the remainder of the water, place the lid on top, and wait 3 minutes.
  5. Gently push the plunger down, and pour coffee into a mug.
  6. To make the vanilla cream, mix almond milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla in a small jar.
  7. Toss ice cubes in a mug, and add the coffee + vanilla cream.
  8. Stir and enjoy!

    This is probably going to make me sound like a total moron…. But I didn’t realize Columbian necessarily meant that the beans were from Columbia – I thought it was a roasting style! Embarrassing, right?

    I’ve made iced coffee before at home, but I’m never pleased with it. Looking at your recipe, I think I need to make some alterations to my method! Sweetened and Condensed Milk and Almond Milk would make this my go-to drink!
