Vintage enthusiasts gather twice a year on a historic dairy farm in Omaha, Nebraska. It’s magic. Junkstock, now one of the biggest junkin’ events in the midwest, continues to gain momentum each season. Over 170 vendors from 20 states were in attendance this spring. The event is known for its eclectic, festive atmosphere.

Last fall I brought my shop to life for the first time, and it was the best experience. This spring was another huge success! Sharing three days with people who also have a love for vintage and repurposed treasures brings me such joy. While having the opportunity to share my work with others is such a blast, by far the most rewarding part of the event is the friendships that are made. I’ve met some of the most kind-hearted people that are truly inspiring. Erin and Katie from Francis & Faith, and Jessica and Emily from Jess Imports made the best neighbors!
I introduced a variety of new cards and prints to the line for this event. A few crowd favorites were the ‘I Don’t Hate You’ Card and the ‘And So the Adventure Begins’ Print! My mom and I built a shelving unit out of fence panels to house succulents and cards. It’s amazing what you can create out of something so simple. I also furthered my hobby of collecting vintage goods, and let me tell you – it’s quite addicting. #hoarderstatus?
Despite the muddy fields from heavy rain the day prior, the weekend brought a crowd of over 30,000 energized junk lovers who were ready and willing to brave the weather! Luckily the big guy upstairs heard my prayers and the rain managed to hold off until it was over, phew.
Looking forward to the Harvest Edition in October!
Of course, I managed to sneak away and check out all of the amazing treasures!
